Organophosphorus compounds have widespread applications in organic synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, materials science, pesticides and other fields due to their unique physical and chemical properties. In particular, organophosphorus ligands play an important role in organic synthetic chemistry and asymmetric catalytic reactions. They can be effective in promoting metel-catalysed reactions,so the development of simple and efficient methods to synthesize such compounds has attracted wide attention from scientists. This paper mainly studies the arylation of C-3 position of phosphorus-containing indole compounds catalyzed by cheap metal copper. The full thesis is mainly composed of two chapters:The first chapter is a literature review. It includes the recent research progress of transition metal-catalyzed indole C-H functionalization, which was summarized from the five aspects to introduce: the indole C-2 and C-3 arylation, alkynylation, and alkylation, acylation and other functional groups. The second chapter is the research carried out during my master's degree. It studies the copper-catalyzed indole C-3 arylation reaction between phosphorus-containing indole compounds and diphenyliodonium trifluoromethanesulfonate derivatives, which is simple and efficient.A series of 3-aryl indole phosphine oxide compounds have been synthesized. The strategy has mild conditions and simple operation, and it will contribute to design and synthesize the new phosphine ligands in the foreseeable future.
