China is a large manufacturing country,and there exists huge water consumption.The printing and dyeing industry,as one of the industries with the largest water consumption in the industrial manufacturing industry,produces a very staggering amount of wastewater.According to incomplete statistics,the amount of printing and dyeing wastewater generated per day is about 3.5 million cubic meters in China.Due to the different printing and dyeing processes,the actual situation of printing and dyeing wastewater is very complicated.The main features include deep color,variable water quality,strong toxicity,large water volume,poor biodegradability,large changes in pH and water temperature,etc.Wastewater reuse rate is at a low level in the entire industrial water,about 6% to 8%.Therefore,the development of cost-effective printing and dyeing wastewater treatment technology is urgently needed by every printing and dyeing plant.This paper studies the wastewater of a local textile printing and dyeing factory whose printing and dyeing wastewater mainly includes pre-treatment wastewater and dyeing wastewater.Among them,the pre-treatment wastewater cotains complex components,large organic content,many suspended particles,and high alkalinity.Dyeing wastewater has large water volume and deep color,etc.The main components of the two kinds of wastewater are very different,so they are treated separately: as to pre-treatment wastewater,a series of flocculants are mainly synthesized for flocculation,and for dyeing wastewater,a series of adsorbents are synthesized and treated in the form of adsorption.The specific research contents are as follows:1.The pre-treatment wastewater mainly contains pollutants such as polyvinyl alcohol,starch,additives,pectin,wax and alkali.In view of the complexity of desizing wastewater composition,a variety of flocculants(polyaluminum silicate sulfate flocculant,polyferric chloride flocculant,aluminum sulfate,aluminum chloride,polyaluminum ferrofloccculant,polyaluminum sulfate ferric chloride flocculant)were synthesized in this paper,and used for pretreatment wastewater treatment with turbidity of 453.35 NTU.After comparing the size of alumen ustum,the overall volume of the sediment,the settling time and the turbidity removal rate,we found that the prepared aluminum sulfate(AS)and aluminum chloride(AC)flocculants were better.After the treated wastewater is not filtered,the turbidity removal rate can reach more than 83%,and if filtering operation is added,the turbidity removal rate can reach more than 99%.In summary,Al-4 flocculant is effective and suitable for the treatment of this pretreatment wastewater.2.Dyed wastewater is different from pre-treatment wastewater.It mainly contains various dyes,and methylene blue(MB)is one of the dyes widely used in the printing and dyeing process,so we take it as an example to study two adsorbents.This paper studies the compounding of high-value silicon-based materials with 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid(DSD acid)under different conditions.Then we explored the effect of the synthesis conditions on the microstructure of the product and the adsorption capacity of methylene blue by the synthesized product.From the perspective of simplifying the synthesis conditions and reducing costs,graphene oxide(GO)was synthesized,and modified with taurine.Subsequently,the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent on MB and adsorption mechanism were explored.
