Metal-organic polyhedra?MOPs?are cage-like structures formed by self-assembly of metal ions or metal clusters and organic ligands under certain conditions.Because of its special physical and chemical properties,it can be widely used in the fields including catalysis,sensing,host-guest chemistry, separation and storage, and drug delivery.Among them, the metal oxygen clusters?also known as Polyoxometalates?formed by the connection of the early transition metal element with the oxygen atom are often used as the second building units?SBUs?for which they are used to construct new MOPs.The MOPs constructed in this way combine the advantages of polyoxometalates and ligands, and have unique properties. The choice of metal centers and organic linkers are the two key factors in the synthesis of MOPs.It is worth mentioning that in the past five years,vanadium-based metal-organic polyhedra?VMOPs?have attracted much attention, and the family of originally monotonous vanadium-based metal-organic polyhedra has been enriched. At the same time,zirconium-based metal-organic polyhedra?Zr-MOPs?have been developed due to their strong stability? This article is mainly divided into the following two parts:1.Three different organic ligands and different vanadium sources were selected to synthesize three new VMOPs under solvothermal conditions, and a series of basic characterizations of the three compounds were performed.Among them, the dye adsorption and fluorescence properties of Compound 1 were studied.Dye adsorption test results show that Compound 1 only has an adsorption effect on cationic dyes including methylene blue, crystal violet, and rhodamine B.Among them,it has the strongest adsorption capacity for smaller size methylene blue.It does not absorb anionic and neutral dyes.It shows that the adsorption process is an ion exchange process. At the same time, the compound also has good light-emitting properties. Therefore, the compound has certain application prospects in treating pollutant cationic dyes in the environment.?NH2Me2?12[?V5O9Cl?6?1,4-NDC?12]?1?[NH2 Me2]8{[V6O6?OCH3?9?SO4?]4?L1?4}?2?[NH2Me2]24{[WV5O6?m3-O?5?SO4?]4?V5O9Cl?4?BTC?12}?SO4?2?3?L1=[1,1':3',1”-triphenyl]-4,4”,5'-tricarboxylic acid2.Three kinds of bidentate carboxylic acid ligands were selected and reacted with zirconocene dichloride?Cp2ZrCl2?under solvothermal conditions to prepare three cases of novel Zr-MOPs.Interestingly,both compounds 4 and 5 are structurally composed of three linear carboxyl ligand bridges and two trinuclear zirconocene building units.First,a series of basic characterizations of three compounds were performed, including single crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption.Secondly,the fluorescence properties of two capsule-like compounds were studied.Test results show that both of them are blue light emitting materials.[Cp3Zr3??3-O???2-OH?3]2?BPDC?3Cl2?H2O??4?[Cp3Zr3??3-O???2-OH?3]2?NDC?3Cl2?H2O?3?5?[Cp3Zr3??3-O???2-OH?3]4?L2?Cl4?6?L2=2,5-dihydroxyterephthalicacid...
