Tribology is not only a basic subject,but also involves many fields such as energy and environment.Abrasion will cause huge energy consumption and economic losses.As a kind of polymer material with excellent comprehensive performance,POM has attracted extensive attention in the field of wear resistance due to its outstanding fatigue resistance and wear resistance.However,how to further improve the wear resistance of POM has become a research hotspot of researchers.This paper explores the tribological properties of POM composites modified by graphene(GNs)and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE).The main contents are as follows:1 To determine the effect of GNs on the wear resistance of POM,GNs were added to the POM pellets.The results show that GNs can effectively reduce the friction coefficient and wear rate.When the graphene content is 0.3%,the friction coefficient and wear amount are simultaneously the lowest.It is 53.6% and 72.5% lower than raw materials,respectively.After adding the proper amount of GNs,there is no obvious furrow on the friction surface,and the adhesive wear is alleviated..2 In order to further reduce the wear rate,it was confirmed that the wear resistance of PTFE/POM under the modification of graphene was changed,and different contents of graphene were added to the PTFE/POM wear-resistant material produced by Du Pont and Korean engineering plastics.The friction coefficient and wear rate of wear-resistant materials are further reduced after the addition of graphene.The modification degree of the wear rate of graphene is obvious,and the comprehensive mechanical properties of the composites are optimal when the graphene content is 0.2%.Reach the raw material value.3 In order to obtain PTFE/POM composite materials with good wear resistance,industrial productivity and low cost,GNs/PTFE/POM composites were prepared by using GNs,PTFE micropowder and POM powder,and the wear resistance of composites was conducted and comparison with the commercially available wear resistant materials.The results show that the prepared composites have good wear resistance,the friction coefficient and wear rate are 31.25% and 51.42% lower than that of raw materials,respectively.Compared with GNs modified commercially available wear-resistant materials,the optimal friction coefficient is about 0.10.The guide shoe products prepared from this material also have excellent wear resistance.In summary,GNs can effectively improve the wear resistance of POM,and the GNs/PTFE/POM composites prepared by laboratory process have good wear resistance and can reach the level of commercially available imported wear-resistant materials,but the cost is low.Therefore,the composite material prepared by this process can be further promoted and industrially produced.
