With the improvement of living standards, people's requirements for the living environment are getting higher and higher. In recent years, complaints about odor pollution have been increasing. The odor pollution has become the second largest pollution problem after noise pollution.Malodorous pollution can be divided into continuous and intermittent odor pollution.Persistent foul odor pollution is easy to control, but sudden odor pollution has the characteristics of instantaneousness, degree of harm, and difficult to trace. The supervisory departments of such odor pollution incidents have problems that are difficult to capture, difficult to trace, and difficult to control. In many industries, the petrochemical industry has a high frequency of sudden odor pollution incidents because of its particularity. This article analyzes the odorous pollution sources in the petrochemical industry and proposes a monitoring method for sudden odor pollution in the petrochemical industry. The core of this monitoring method is to establish an enterprise odorous substance information database. The content of the information database is basic information of the enterprise.,corporate odor substances, corporate plant odor concentration background value, strong odor source inspection.Sudden odor pollution sampling equipment using remote control sampling box, sample analysis method for the dynamic olfactory instrument method and temperament online. The layout method is divided into different points in the pre-accident phase, accident phase, and late accident phase. The accident data was compared with the corporate odor information database, and the odor characteristic identification method, the odor concentration change identification method at the plant boundary, and the characteristic pollutant identification method were used to trace the source pollution companies.By comparing the Austrian AODM model, the United States ISC3 model, the AERMOD model, the CALPUFF model, and the British ADMS model,it is found that the AREMOD model is more suitable for the prediction of odor pollution diffusion. The idea of the AREMOD prediction is that the plant odor concentration(dimensionless)is converted into the mass concentration(mg/m~3)was calculated by inverting the formula to calculate the source emission of the company and substituting the AREMOD model to predict the scope of pollution. This article uses the Japanese environmental standard value and uses 35.64 mg/m~3as the petrochemical industry standard value.Taking a petrochemical enterprise as an example, the applicability of the monitoring method and early warning system of sudden odor pollution was discussed.Through the establishment of a corporate odor material information bank, the odor concentration range of the company's factory is in the range of 10 to 35,and the odor concentration in the factory's sector exceeds the secondary standard of"Emission Standard for Odor Pollutants"(GB14554-93)in part of the time. The characteristic contaminants at the plant boundary are mainly VOCs,benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, and styrene. When sudden odor pollution occurs, the above three identification methods are used to successfully lock odor pollution companies.Combined with the AREMOD model for impact prediction,it was found that it did not cause odor pollution when it reached a village.
