The dyeing of cloth is an important part in textile process, and maintaining the dye concentration constant is of great significance to reduce the color difference of the fabric and to print and dye the fabric evenly. With the continuous development of printing and dyeing technology, many more accurate and advanced solution measurement technology has emerged.Spectrophotometry is one of the most widely used methods used by dyeing workers,it has the advantages of rapid detection, high sensitivity, wide application, high accuracy and convenient monitoring. It is the most feasible method for dye concentration detection at present.Because the spectrophotometry requires the separation-sampling test of the dye,it is not possible to achieve real-time online monitoring of the concentration of the dye. With the continuous development of optical fiber sensing technology,it provides a new direction for the monitoring of dye concentration. In this paper,we combined the fiber optic sensing technology with the spectrophotometry, and realized the detection of the dye solution with the immersed optical fiber sampling probe.Three kinds of reactive dyes, reactive purple K-3R,reactive dark green KE-4BD and reactive bright yellow X-7G,were used in the experiment.Firstly, the three different concentrations of dye solution were tested by the designed fiber optic sensing system, and the linear relationship between their absorbent and concentration was obtained, then eight parts of the known concentrations of these three dyes were prepared to verify the experiment. The results of the verification experiment show that the detection effect of single-component dyer is effective by using optical fiber sensing system, and the measurement error is kept within 3.17%,and the average absolute error is within 1.295%.However,in process of textile dyeing, two or more dyes are often needed for splicing dyeing, how to detect the concentration of one component in the mixed dye solution has always been a difficult problem for the textile workers. On the basis of better realization of single-component dye solution concentration detection,we further combined the optical fiber sensing technology with the dual-wavelength Spectrophotometry, and realize the detection of the concentration of two-component dye solution in mixed dye solution. The active purple K-3R,active dark green KE-4BD and active bright yellow X-7G were still used, and three kinds of active dye solutions were mixed in pairs into three two-component mixed dyes. The optical fiber sensing system was used to detect the three kinds of two-component mixed dyes, and the linear relationship between their absorbance and concentration was obtained, and then eight known concentrations of the three mixed dyes were formulated to be validated.Combined with the two-wavelength spectrophotometry, the detection effect of the two-component dye solution is also good, and the results of the verification experiment show that the experimental error is slightly larger than the detection of single-component dye solution, the measurement error is controlled within.35%,and the average absolute error is within 2.56%.The experimental results show that the detection result is better and the error is smaller whether the dye is single component or double component. The research in this paper provides a certain support for the real-time detection of two-component dye solution concentration, and also provides a new direction for the real-time detection of multi-component dye solution concentration.
