Rare earth is an important strategic resource and core raw material for industry in China.With the rapid development of the national economy,the market demand for high-grade rare earth concentrates is increasing,and high-grade rare earths have become particularly important.The main technical problems faced by rare earth flotation production are the fluorspar and monazite and fluorite,barite,barite,and apatite in the rare earth minerals are semi-soluble salt mines.Moreover,this interaction makes it show similar flotation behavior in the flotation process,and calcium and barium minerals are not easily suppressed,making it difficult to separate the flotation.In this paper,a detailed study of the above problems is carried out.The characteristics of superconducting high gradient magnetic separator and the difference in mineral specific magnetic susceptibility are used to effectively enrich rare earth minerals and to compare them with the loss of a small amount of rare earth.Separation of fluorite and other gangue minerals,thereby reducing the interference of easy-floating gangue minerals on rare earth flotation,improving the properties of the materials entering the flotation,reducing the amount of reagents,and improving the concentrate yield and recovery rate.Therefore,the pre-disposal of rare earth co-associated calcium and barium gangue minerals can help improve the technology and theoretical system of rare earth beneficiation,and has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the technical index of rare earth beneficiation.Firstly,a permanent magnetic cylinder type magnetic separator and an electromagnetic high gradient magnetic separator are used.By removing iron in advance,the iron element content in Baiyun Ebo tailings is reduced to below 60%.Since valuable elements such as rare earth,niobium,and scandium contain weak magnetism,gangue minerals such as fluorite are non-magnetic minerals,so super The high-conductivity gradient magnetic separator is used to separate the weak magnetic minerals from the non-magnetic minerals.The test results show that the superconducting magneticseparation preliminarily discards the calcium-containing barite minerals in the Bayan Ebo mine,enriches the rare earth minerals in advance,and superconducting magnetic It can significantly enrich rare earth minerals and reduce the content of fluorite and other gangues in rare earth concentrates(REO/F ratio increased from 0.80 to 1.83 in the original ore)under the condition of losing a very small amount of rare earth(rare earth operation recovery rate of 98.79%).Thereby reducing the negative impact of easy-floating gangue minerals on rare earth flotation,it can be applied to industrial production.Secondly,in this experiment,when minerals were floated with rare earths,H205 was used as the mineral collector,water glass was used as the inhibitor,and FM-20 was used as the foaming agent.Finally,the best conditions for flotation are: 60% slurry concentration,0.56kg/t water glass,6.67kg/t inhibitor,flotation temperature 55 ?,pH=8~9,foaming The dosage is 0.2ml,the foaming agent stirring time is 3min,and the flotation time is 5min.On the basis of the rough separation condition experiment,the "one coarse and two fine" open circuit experiment and the closed-circuit process experiment of the return of the mine were used to finally obtain rare earth concentrate with a recovery rate of 72.91% and a REO grade of 51.45%.Finally,through comparison with the flotation test of the pretreatment ore without superconducting high gradient magnetic separation,it can be seen that with superconducting high gradient magnetic separation technology,the recovery rate of rare earth concentrate has increased by 4%,and rare earth concentrate has increased by 6%The dosage of H205 is saved by 75%,and the dosage of inhibitor is saved by 25%.
