Phthalate esters?PAEs?are common organic compounds in production and life.With the passage of time,it is easy to release into the environment,which can be enriched in the organism and produce many toxic and side effects.With the development of plastics industry,PAEs has been widely used,and its environmental residual level,pollution characteristics and ecological risks have attracted worldwide attention.Dahuofang reservoir is an important water source in Liaoning Province,and its water quality safety plays an important role.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the distribution and risk assessment of phthalate esters in Dahuofang reservoir to ensure the safety of drinking water source and drinking water.In this study,PAEs content in water,algae and fish of Dahuofang reservoir was determined,and the temporal and spatial changes of PAEs in water body of Dahuofang reservoir,the enrichment of PAEs in algae and fish,and the preliminary health risk assessment was carried out.The main findings as follows:The content of PAEs in water,algae and fish of Dahuofang reservoir,the temporal and spatial changes of PAEs in water,the enrichment of PAEs in algae and fish,and the preliminary health risk assessment were carried out.The main results are as follows:PAEs are common in Dahuofang reservoir water body,DBP,DOP and DEHP are the main pollutants,and the degree of pollution is relatively low compared with other water bodies in China.The seasonal characteristics of PAEs in reservoir water body and inflow rivers are Csummer>Cspring>Cautumn.The spatial distribution of PAEs in the reservoir area shows a trend of increasing first and then decreasing from east to west.The spatial distribution of PAEs in three main inflow rivers is as follows:Cdownstream>C midstream>C upstream;In terms of PAEs components,the detection concentration of DBP in each sampling area exceeds the national standard limit,DBP and DEHP have certain homology and are negatively related to the concentration of total nitrogen and total phosphorus in water quality.The results of risk exposure model show that the non carcinogenic risk index of DBP in Dahuofang reservoir is far less than 1,which will not cause health hazards to human body.DBP,DOP and DEHP were detected in the algae of Dahuofang reservoir,and DEP was detected in a few parts.The correlation analysis between PAEs content and chlorophyll content in the algae showed that the relationship between PAEs content and chlorophyll content was very significant.The spatial distribution of chlorophyll in the algae decreased from east to west,and then increased.The seasonal change was generally Cautumn>Cspring>Csummer,which was contrary to the temporal and spatial change of PAEs in the water body.Water of Dahuofang Reservoir There was a significant negative correlation between chlorophyll content and PAEs content.DBP,DOP,DEHP and DEP were detected in fish of Dahuofang reservoir,and PAEs content in fish was lower than that in other areas of China.PAEs component content in all organs and tissues of fish showed CDEHP>CDBP>CDOP>CDEP.DEHP,DBP and DOP were distributed in Cviscera>Cfish head+fish tail>Cfish meat,DEP was Cfish meat>Cfish head+fish tail>Cviscera.The results of carcinogenic and non carcinogenic risk assessment of class 2B carcinogen DEHP showed that the risk for adults and children did not exceed the risk limit;the non carcinogenic health risk assessment of PAEs other than DEHP showed that it did not cause non carcinogenic health risk for adults and children,and the health risk index of PAEs residue for adults was slightly higher than that for children Number.In Dahuofang reservoir,the content of PAEs in algae and water body is very significant negative correlation,and the content of PAEs in algae is easily affected by water environment;the content of PAEs in fish is positively correlated with the concentration of PAEs in water body,which indicates that water environment will affect PAEs residue in fish;the content of PAEs in fish and algae is positively correlated and the correlation coefficient is greater than the correlation coefficient of PAEs in fish and water,which indicates that fish can pass through edible algae PAEs can enter the fish body,and the way of feeding is also the main way of PAEs entering the fish body,and PAEs plays a certain role in the food chain.
