Photocatalytic technology has broad application prospects in dealing with environmental and energy crises,but it is limited by various factors in practical applications.This paper mainly focuses on two aspects:first,the catalytic activity of Rh B dye wastewater treated by alkali Co0.01Zn0.99S?CZS?;Secondly,the effect of phase structure on the catalytic activity of Mo O3 and its potential application in indoor cleaning were studied.?1?A simple alkali treatment method was used to improve the photocatalytic activity of Co0.01Zn0.99S?CZS?.Due to the parent properties of zinc,sodium hydroxide?Na OH?aqueous solutions with different molar concentrations were used as the solvent for the post-treatment of Co0.01Zn0.99S to form Zn vacancy.After treatment,the specific surface area of 5M-Co0.01Zn0.99S?5M-CZS?increased by 2.8times(12.8vs 3.4m2g-1),and the oxidation potential of valence band?EVB?also increased greatly?2.55vs 2.19v?,which also improved the charge separation efficiency.Finally,the obtained samples were used to degrade Rh B dyes and test their activity in practice.Compared with untreated CZS,the degradation activity of5M-CZS increased by 3.4 times.The post-synthesis strategy we designed is simple,low cost,and can be used for mass production of effective photocatalysts for degradation of dye wastewater.?2?In this work,we discussed for the first time the effect of different crystal phases on the catalytic activity of Mo O3 and its potential applications at room temperature.In this paper,the orthogonal molybdenum trioxide??-Mo O3?and hexagonal molybdenum trioxide?h-Mo O3?were synthesized by simple hydrothermal method.Under environmental conditions,?-Mo O3 has high catalytic wet air oxidation?CWAO?activity to methylene blue?MB?,while h-Mo O3 has no activity:after 60min,the degradation rate of MB was 64%.According to the analysis of H2-TPR and O2-TPD results,the oxidation capacity of?-Mo O3 is stronger than that of h-Mo O3.By analyzing its crystal structure and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy?XPS?,it is found that?-Mo O3 has a large Jahn-Teller distortion.The distortion of Jahn-Teller can lead to the formation of Lewis acid sites,which is conducive to the improvement of photocatalytic activity.This environmental CWAO process has the advantages of energy saving and low cost,and is a promising purification process.
