Based on studying luminescent metal-organic frameworks?LMOFs?for sensing breath VOCs biomarkers of lung cancer patients as the research background, this paper mainly focused on improve of the fluorescent recognition performance of LMOFs to selected breath VOC biomarkers of lung cancer patients?including hexanal,1-propanol,ethylbenzene,isoprene and styrene?.These findings are expected to broaden the application of LMOFs materials, and provide a data basis for the early breath diagnosis of lung cancer patients, the whole research has important scientific value and practical significance. In this paper, the ZIF-8 samples were separately post-modified with amine groups by using N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine?MMEN?and N,N-dimethylaminoethylamine?MAEA?,which had same molecular formula but different structures. The surface chemical properties and pore structure of ZIF-8-MMEN and ZIF-8-MAEA were systematically investigated, and their fluorescence sensing properties toward the selected five breath VOC biomarkers of lung cancer patients were also studied. Results showed that:after modification, the BET surface area and pore volume of ZIF-8-MMEN and ZIF-8-MAEA were both almost one time higher than those of the original ZIF-8 sample. The modified samples showed a brilliant capacity for sensing hexanal, ethylbenzene and 1-proponal,and the detection limit of hexanal was as low as 1 ppb.Furthermore, the modified ZIF-8 samples all showed good reproducibility. The UIO-66 samples were modified separately by methylamine?MA?,ethylenediamine?ED?and N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine?MMEN?to prepare a series of UIO-66@Amine materials, and the N-H groups were successfully grafted.Based on the electronic interaction,in comparison with UIO-66,UIO-66-MA,UIO-66-ED and UIO-66-MMEN all showed turn-off effects toward rich electrons VOCs,such as 1-propanol,ethylbenzene.Furthermore,the modified UIO-66samples all presented turn-on effects toward deficient electrons VOCs,including hexanal, isoprene and styrene. And,the detection concentration of hexanal was as low as 8.137×10-4mol/L?0.815 x 102 ppm?.The modified UIO-66 samples all showed good regeneration ability.
