Dielectric elastomers are a class of electroactive polymer materials that can generate large driving forces and electrostrictive deformation under the action of an electric field.Due to its excellent dielectric properties,electro-deformation properties,and mechanical properties,it has great application potential in the fields of electronic communications,information engineering,entertainment life,and biomedicine.Especially in the research of sensors,actuators and artificial muscles,it has been favored by many scholars.Among different types of dielectric elastomers,compared with other types of dielectric elastomers,silicone rubber-based dielectric elastomers are easier to form,less affected by temperature,faster in driving response,and lower in elastic modulus.Has attracted widespread attention.In order to further improve the dielectric properties of silicone rubber-based dielectric elastomers and their electrical deformation properties so that they can produce large deformations at lower voltages,this article attempts to develop a new type of silicone rubber-based dielectric elastomers.Composite material.In this paper,a two-component liquid silicone rubber dielectric elastomer substrate from American Dow Corning Corporation was selected.Nano-TiO2and nano-Ag with high dielectric constant were selected as fillers to prepare Ag/TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer.The specific work content is as follows:?1?Five PDMS dielectric elastomers were prepared by changing the mass ratio of PDMS component A and component B of the dielectric elastomer.Among them,component A is generally a platinum-based catalyst,and component B plays a role in polymerizing.Methylsiloxane.Among these five kinds of mixing ratios,it was found that the dielectric properties,mechanical properties and electro-deformation properties all reached the best quality mixing ratio,and the mixing ratio was 1:10.?2?On this basis,fill in nano-TiO2,change its filling percentage,and prepare nano-TiO2 composite PDMS dielectric elastomers.Explore the dielectric properties of nano-TiO2 composite PDMS dielectric elastomers with different filling percentages.The relationship between frequency and its mechanism is analyzed.Then the mechanical properties and electro-deformation properties of nano-TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomers with different nano-TiO2filling percentages are discussed.It is found that when the ratio is 4%,8%and 13%,the dielectric properties,mechanical properties and The best electro-deformation performance.?3?Continue filling nano-Ag in the nano-TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer,and change the mass percentage to make Ag/TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer.The incorporation of nano-Ag improves the dielectric and electro-deformation properties of Ag/TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomers,which can be used to make smart robot arm parts and robotic swaying tails,but at the same time,Ag/The elastic modulus of TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer becomes larger.?4?In order to further reduce the elastic modulus,the Ag/TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer was optimized by preparing and adding a dimethyl silicone oil solution.The optimized Ag/TiO2composite PDMS dielectric elastomer was not only reduced by50%compared with that before optimization,but also the dielectric properties and electro-deformation properties were reduced due to the lack of elastic modulus.Increased,the electro-deformation rate reached 41.1%,which was 17%higher than before optimization.Finally,the preparation process of Ag/TiO2composite PDMS new dielectric elastomer was determined in this paper,that is,the mass ratio of AB component of PDMS solution is1:10,the mass fraction of nano-TiO2is 8%,and the mass fraction of nano-Ag is It is 0.2%,and the dimethyl silicone oil solution is added at the same time,so that the prepared new dielectric elastomer has low elastic modulus,excellent dielectric properties,and good electrical deformation effect,and can play an important role in the fields of sensors and actuators.
