Aiming at the needs of vehicle active safety control key parameter estimation?theGPS real-time signal acquisition and processing system studied the basic principle andimplementation method by usingthe car's output single-antenna GPS real time informationis used to determine the carrier vehicle motion parameters in real time. Put forward a kindof automotive speed, acceleration, based on the technology of GPS car heading Anglemeasurement and estimation algorithm. In order to realize the continuous monitoring ofvehicle carrier motion state, the system is intended to provide a high precision, simplehardware structure, low cost, high synchronicity with vehicle motion state of the systemThe fstudy of GPS real-time acquisition and processing system mainly includes threeparts: GPS receiver hardware, real-time signal acquisition and processing of GPS receiver,GPS signal processing software development and testing of the system.GPS receiver real-time signal acquisition and processing of research including theserial communication between PC and GPS receiver, GPS protocol parsing, theavailability of GPS information judgment, the extraction of GPS information, GPS rawdata display and storage, GPS raw data display and storage of the type of vehicle noiseGPS system, the use of kalman filtering algorithm to deal with GPS data received moreaccurate velocity and acceleration of the vehicle movement state information and theinformation displayed in a table or curve method to the software.The development of thesoftware of GPS signal processing consists the GPS receiver and the PC serial portcommunication, the display and storage of GPS raw data, by useing a table or curvemethod to display the GPS raw data after the late and calculate the real-time vehiclemotion on intuitive reflected in the software.GPS real-time signal acquisition and processing system of test mainly includes thestatic test and dynamic test. The static testing include:(1) Software and hardware systemwork together in the laboratory environment without strong electromagnetic interference,and compared with reference system to test the stability of the software system and themeasuring accuracy of the GPS system.(2) Software and hardware system work togetherin the vehicle with it's engine idle speed cases,and compared with reference system to testthe GPS system by the overall noise type. The dynamic testing system, mainly on themotion of the vehicle test system. Research in motion of the vehicle on the GPS system,and software system response of the vehicle movement state information is the same withthe true real-time vehicle movement state.
