Nowadays motor vehicles have spread to people's daily lives.For example,in peacetime activities or transport operations,motor vehicles have been an irreplaceable means for transporting.However,security risks posed by vehicles can not be ignored,such as the security guard of occasions,the use of a motor vehicle for hiding dangerous people or goods.Such phenomenon has gradually increased in the recent years like car bombs,smuggled goods,vehicle based fled hiding,etc.On a global scale,such incidents have directly or indirectly done harm to the security and stability of people's lives due to the increased risks.Vehicle chassis hiding is one of the most common events in the safe field.In order to solve such problems,the development of a stable and efficient with high quality results chassis digital imaging solution is imperative.This paper presents a linear array camera based automatic vehicle chassis inspection system,the design using a linear array camera to collect data media,by scanning and image stitching algorithm camera,image quality is automatically generated at a relatively high speed of the vehicle dynamic process of moving higher vehicle chassis mosaic image.On this basis,the program has also joined the automatic license plate recognition algorithm and process control methods,specifically,we use SWT algorithm license plate location in the image,and then use the template matching algorithm to identify individual characters,the final output of the license plate number;use timer setting,sensors and sensor interlock timestamp Three algorithms to achieve process automation control system,ensure that the system unsupervised stable,automatic operation.In this paper,the current program has been tested with different test site conditions.The results show that the proposed method can be applied to almost any need for vehicle safety inspection applications.
