The concrete material is widely applied in the civil construction,marine and port construction project,hydraulic and hydroelectric engineering and many other fields.However,in the production environment of reinforced concrete structures,there are kinds of caustic medias,such as acid,alkali,and salt,which causes serious corrosive troubles.The corrosion of reinforcing steel bring direct and indirect losses that are far out of our expectation.Let's take the thermal power plant for instance,a large amount of concrete structures,such as cooling tower,and sewage treatment pond,are set in an extremely corrosive environment,among which the cooling tower is quite representative.In its operation,the long-termed mutual effect of the hot humid air,hot water and other elements can easily result in a serious corrosion,and this definitely does great harm to the cooling tower,nevertheless,little attention is paid to the specific anti-corrosion means of the cooling tower.Due to the inappropriateness of choosing coating system or construction quality defects,the coating system of the cooling tower is always destroyed in a short term,thus the due anti-corrosion effect is not reached at all.What is more worse,some power plants take the risks of operating the cooling tower without any anti-corrosion meatures,which has already caused steel exposed in some cooling towers.The thesis proceeds from the corrosion mechanism of concrete,and endeavors to analyze the innertructure of cooling tower and the corrosive environment of its different parts,aiming at finding the causes for corrosion in the cooling operation environment and inferring its corrosive mechanism,thus reaching to discuss the possibility of anti-corrosion coating.By means of analyzing similar projects and normalized documents,the thesis is looking forward to raising a proper coating system for cooling tower.With the help of lab-simulation to accelerate corrosion,the anti-corrosion feature of coating system is tested and its service life is also infered and calculated.
