Diesel electronic control system(ECS)can not only significantly improve engine performance on the sides of power,but also the emissions.The combination of electronic control technology and power machinery and equipment has been the hot area in the engine field in recent years.Diesel engine calibration is main testing target are the hardware devices and interfaces of ECS.The calibration and diagnosis of the system are done by the control software;the testing and calibration of ECS are carried out with the help of virtual instrument technology.If there is no test on ECS,the diesel engine will be in a long-running state without precise control,its performance on the sides of power is bound to decline.This paper focuses on the analog channels and switching value involved in diesel engine ECS,determine the model of the system,design and programming of the system according to this model,completing the selection of the system hardware equipment and connection lines for the design,select the software platforms and the writing of software program,has achieved testing the ECS with virtual instrument technology.This paper designed a clear and simple interactive interface and actualized data display and storage.The data exchange between ECS and the host computer chose CAN bus to communicate.Finally,this paper carried out tests and verified the software's functions.
