Chinese ancient architecture occupies an important position in the world of buildings,especially for timber structures.After thousands years of development,timber structures are of huge data size,various and complex structure types and have rich scientific and cultural connotation.Experienced a series of nature disasters,there are still many ancient timber structures today,which shows excellent safety performance.Chinese ancient timber buildings system is a unique building system in the world of ancient building with high historical,cultural relic,artistic and scientific value.The study of the structural properties of Chinese ancient timber buildings is import for maintaining and protecting them.It is important for us to research the structure characteristics of the ancient buildings,protect and develop Chinese ancient timber structures through understanding structure types,artifacts and characteristics of the Eastern Qing Tombs.Methods are chosen which used for the detection of the Eastern Qing Tombs through some tests,and determine the effect of wood factor weights so as to get the wood structure damage degree calculation method and the whole structure security rating theory.These methods and theories are applied and validated in the detection,and provide data support and convenience for the restoration 0f Qing tombs.
