Research On Hydropower Development Of Chinese Enterprises In Myanmar By Rational Use Of Cross-culture Management

In recent years,with the development of China economic,more and more Chinese enterprises choose to go out to open up foreign markets.As a neighboring country of China,Myanmar is rich in water resources,but with weak power infrastructure.While,Chinese enterprises has accumulated rich experience in hydropower development and relevant technology ranks the first level in the world.Therefore,Myanmar has become one of the ideal markets of Chinese enterprises going out for hydropower development.Although Myanmar and China both belong to the East and neighbor to each other,but Myanmar has been colonized by Western countries for many years.In the past decades,Myanmar has been exposed by comprehensive sanctions from western countries and suffered by local military conflicts.Due to the above reasons,economic development in Myanmar has been left behind the world and also the rapid changing China,thus the society and culture in Myanmar is quite different from China.Therefore,in the process of hydropower development in Myanmar,Chinese enterprises have indeed achieved some results and at the same time encountered a lot of problems.In order to better solve the existing problems and change the unfavorable situation in hydropower development,cultural differences between China and Myanmar must be taken seriously and cross-culture management must be made full use of.In the light of cultural reality of Myanmar and characteristics of hydropower development,combined with creative use of cross-culture management theory,by learning advanced experience Japanese companies in Myanmar,this paper reviews relevant theories of cross-cultural management through literature research and empirical research,summarizes political,economic and cultural characteristics of Myanmar and the existing problems in the process of hydropower development of Chinese enterprises in Myanmar,aiming to find a good way to better respect,understand,accept,adapt cultural differences and solve the above said problems in the new democratic regime in Myanmar.
