As the peak-valley difference of load increasing day and day,and the rapid development of anti-peaking or base load power such as wind power,nuclear power,the system peak-shaving problem is getting worse.As an excellent peak shaving power,pumped storage power station become more and more important in the system.In addition to the role of peak shaving and valley filling,Pumped storage power station can also provide fast spare capacity to cope with uncertainty due to the wind prediction error and failure caused by power generators,because conditions conversion required for the conversion time is short,and efforts to adjust the speed.Meanwhile,the pumped storage power station has properties of efficiency of 75%in the transferring process between generation and pumping.Therefore,the study of optimization scheduling of the system which including pumped storage power plant in the energy generation scheduling modes has important theoretical value and practical significance.Based on existing research results at home and abroad,aiming at the problem existing in power generation scheduling of power which including pumped storage power station in China's current energy saving based generation dispatching mode,the paper investigate the unit commitment model considering spare capacity configuration for accident,and the stochastic optimal scheduling model considering wind power and pumped storage power station,respectively.Firstly,the current situation and characteristics of pumped storage power plant development is elaborated;and then the paper analyze the operating characteristics of thermal power units and wind turbines for detailed.Based on those analysis,the paper analyze the generation scheduling optimization problems of Power grid which contain Pumped Storage.Secondly,for the pumped storage power station can simultaneously participate in peaking transferring and providing emergency reserve,and also the emergency reserve capacity is restricted by the capacity of the stock,the paper establish an unit commitment model which can take pumped storage power station shaving peak and providing emergency into consideration simultaneously in energy saving based generation dispatching.And then convert the model to a mixed integer linear programming model in order to solve it by mature commercial software.Example shows that the proposed model can optimize the operation of pumped storage power plant accident while participating in peak regulation and provide backup,you can improve the overall efficiency of the system generation resources,give full play to pumped storage power station energy saving benefits.Finally,taking into account the increase need for spinning reserve capacity and peak shaving capacity after wind power coming into systems,pumped storage power station can provide a lot of peak shaving capacity,can also provide spinning reserve for wind power station,so the paper researched Pumped Storage Power Station and wind power joint operation optimization model.Using a probabilistic approach to the account the uncertainty of wind power:According to the distribution prediction and prediction error output of wind power,the paper use Latin Hypercube Sampling uncertainty of wind power generation and the corresponding probability scenarios,using synchronous back-generation technology cuts scene.Taking into account the crew composition,the accident alternate configuration backup configuration and pumped storage power station provides wind power uncertainty,the paper established a stochastic optimization scheduling model considering wind power and pumped storage power station.Results shows that:With pumped storage power plant and wind power joint operation optimization,can reduce the energy consumption of the system and reduce abandoned wind power.By setting different abandoned wind penalty coefficient,the system can achieve economic use of wind power and maximizing use of wind power.
