Product layout is to arrange all components in a satisfied space without violate their assembly performance.Product layout is not only a big challenge facing in product design but also the research direction of mechanical system assembly precisely design and digital product optimal design.This article proposed a method combined motion analyze and collision response which can analyze layout procedure based on convex hull plus rubber band theory.Stimulate the layout procedure based on convex hull plus rubber band by develop a compact layout stimulation platform which was developed by a method combined with object-oriented and first-order predicate logic.Also build an experiment platform.Verify the feasibility and validity of the compact layout method proposed in this article.Motion model based on convex hull plus rubber band was researched.Compact layout based on convex hull plus rubber band uses rubber band as analogy twining around all components.Components will move to a compact status by move,rotate,slide and retract.In order to simplify NP layout problem,layout procedure was divided into three states-only outers move,both outer and inner move,all components move.Analyze component motion of each state and summarize corresponding mathematical model to guide digital layout stimulation.Collision detection and collision response rules based on convex hull plus rubber band compact layout was researched.Ray method and edge location judgment can provide information such as collision point and collision forms which are used in whole process.Build reasonable collision response rules according to collision states and physical principles to guide components move,rotate or slide after collision.This provided a scientific method of motion calculation and realize for compact layout stimulation platform design.The compact layout stimulation platform based on convex hull plus rubber band was an integrated intelligent stimulation system.It can show the layout procedure intuitively.This article proposes a design method combine object-oriented and first-order predicate logic.According to the exact first-order predicate logic—including input parameter,engagement mapping and result—can build a program or process function.So this method can show the detail protocol of function design and regulate complex design.This method provides a scientific and feasible way to program detail design.Build experiment platform.Using high-speed camera to record motion of objects twined around by rubber band.Compare it to theoretical result and further testify the feasibility and validity of this article.
