Civil engineering structures are generally reinforced concrete as the main material.But at cold northern regions and some coastal environment and under suitable temperature and humidity conditions,reinforced easy to be corroded and the entire concrete structural damaged.Most of the repair costs of countries in the world is caused by by reinforcement corrosion.FRP bars which is anisotropic as a new civil engineering materials,because of its light weight,high strength,corrosion-resistant,anti-magnetic interference performance and other fine features,is widely used in bridges,tunnels,radar stations and other civil engineering practice.Many scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on FRP bars.The research mainly in the tensile properties of FRP bars,less compression performance.With FRP bars wide range of applications in civil engineering,the FRP bars inevitable under pressure.So in order to further promote the application of FRP bars in Civil Engineering,give full play to the material of the excellent performance of the FRP bars,researching compression performance of FRP bars is an inevitable trend.In this paper,through experiment is discussed,loading rate effect on the compressive properties of GFRP rebar,the range of the loading rate are presented.The GFRP tendons in artificial salt solution impregnation,after dipping of GFRP reinforcement for the compressive performance test,analyses the dipping time on the properties of GFRP rebar compressive effects.Another design for six pillar of GFRP reinforcement concrete,under the condition of large eccentric compression static load experiment,the eccentric compression properties of GFRP reinforced concrete column is studied.Experimental results show that GFRP rebar compressive performance test,the loading rate should be controlled at 1 mm/min?4 mm/min,the stability of the data can be obtained.After artificial sea water solution impregnation,GFRP rebar stress-strain curve is linear,specimens for brittle failure,there is no obvious omen before destruction.As the GFRP reinforcement body in solution impregnation time of growth,the limit load of GFRP rebar,the compressive strength retention rate and elastic modulus decrease its retention rate;The smaller the diameter of the specimen,the longer the dipping time,geotextile relative to the more serious corrosion,ultimate load and the compressive strength,the more obvious reduction.The damage form of GFRP reinforced concrete eccentric compression column is a compression damage,damage of brittle failure.Synergy weak GFRP rebar and concrete in reinforced concrete,but the concrete specimen GFRP rebar most intact after crushing,think in terms of capacity,compression of GFRP reinforcement can be used as a reinforcement is applied to concrete members.Through this research and analysis,and provide a reference for future research and engineering,hope to provide some useful reference for scholars of FRP bars.
