Alkali-activated cementitious material is a new type of cementitious material,with silica-alumina waste as raw material,alkali as the activator,through the process of dissolution,re-agglomeration and condensation and hardening.It has the advantages of low energy consumption,simple preparation process,little environmental pollution,and can provide similar performance to ordinary cement.In this paper,copper tailings as the object of study,through different activation methods to activate the copper tailings,and copper tailings as the main raw material preparation of copper tailings alkali activated gel material,the following conclusions:The average particle size of the copper tailings is 66.63μm,the boundary particle size(D10,D90)=(10.99,268.8),the dispersion of the copper tailings is 4.25 particles is not uniform;The main chemical components of the ore are SiO2,SiO2,Fe2O3,SiO2,The main crystal structure of copper tailings is quartz,sodium,dolomite;the shape of the copper tailings particles is irregular,and there are of the patch-like,and some were massive,the larger particles around the more particles attached to the particle size of the particle size is uneven distribution,the larger the particle surface is more smooth,angular,crystal characteristics obvious.The experimental results show that mechanical ball milling can improve the activity of copper tailings,but the activity of copper tailings after activation is still at a low level.The leaching concentration of silicon and aluminum is very low,the leaching concentration of silicon is 37.31/ml,the leaching concentration of aluminum is 10.19μg/ml,the leaching concentration of silicon and aluminum reaches 47.02μg/ml and 18.98μg/ml.Experimental study on thermal activation of copper tailings the activation of thermal activation is better than pure mechanical activation to better improve the silicon and aluminum activity of copper tailings.When the calcination temperature is 600 ℃,the calcination time is 120 minutes,the activated copper tailings have the highest activity,The leaching concentrations were 57.53 μ g/ml and 22.41 μ g/ml,respectively.The optimum combination parameters of the activated copper tailings were 120 min,the calcination temperature was 600 ℃,and the mass ratio of copper tailings/sodium hydroxide was 5:1.Under this condition,the tailings The leaching concentration of silicon was 192.35μg/ml,and the leaching concentration of aluminum was 88.83μg/ml.The experimental results show that the modulus of water glass and the amount of water glass have an important influence on the compressive strength of copper tailing alkali-activated cementitious material.The effect of water-cement ratio on the strength of copper-tailing alkali-activated cementitious material was the highest,and the influence of alkali-ash ratio on strength was the biggest,and the modulus of water glass was the smallest.The modulus of water glass was 2.8,Ash ratio of 26.5%and liquid to solid ratio of 0.32 is the best combination for the preparation of copper tailing alkali-activated cementitious materials.Under this condition,the strength of the alkali-activated material is 11.2MPa. |
