With the rapid development and accelerating urbanization of the cities in our county,urban traffic congestion problems become more and more serious,which has become the main obstacle restricting the development of the cities.Owning to its big transport capacity,little pollution,safety,punctuality,convenience and fast,urban rail transit is in accordance with the national sustainable development strategy,and its development prospect is extremely optimistic.Due to the geographical characteristics,regional planning in each city is different.By considering both line features and the passenger flow characteristics,the train operational scheme is necessary for optimization to change the single routing into multi-routing which matches better with line features.Especially with the extension and development of the lines,the train operation of multi-routing gradually becomes the development direction of urban rail transit since the extra-long lines appear.By taking urban rail line 4 in Guangzhou for an example,the change of passenger flow after the line expends is analyzed.Based on the analysis,multi-routing operation schemes matching the line operation are proposed,which provides reference for the subsequent study of multi-routing.This dissertation mainly includes six parts.In the first chapter,the background and significance of this paper are introduced,and the main content,research ideas and expected results are pointed out.The analysis of urban rail transit passenger flow and the train routing theory are introduced in the second chapter,which provide theory support for the follow studies.In the third chapter,the passenger flow characteristics of urban rail line 4 in Guangzhou are stated,and the passenger flow after the extended south part of line 4 operates is forecasted.The fourth chapter introduces the equipment of urban rail line 4 in Guangzhou,and the train operational scheme of single routing and related transport capacity are analyzed.In the fifth chapter,the shortage of single-routing is analyzed,the scheme of train routing operation is optimized and the optimization results are obtained after the extended south part of line 4 operates.The sixth chapter summarizes the research methods and conclusions,and points out the shortcoming and future research direction of this paper.
