The airtight umbilical connector is widely used in the ground connection of the aerospace system,to achieve the electrical connection and separation between the system and the ground electronic equipment.With the continuous expansion of 1553B data bus technology application in China in the field of aerospace,the platforms is gradually using the 1553B data bus as its communication bus,mounted on the ground connected parts,with the key role of electric signal connection and separation.Therefore,the technologies of 1553B data bus products need to be done at once.To meet the application requirements of the aerospace system with the airtight umbilical connector with data bus,this paper analyzes the working characteristics of airtight umbilical connector with data bus,focusing on the overall technical design,bus contact sealing,bus contact simulation,socket sealing and anti short circuit design,selection of socket sealant and other aspects of technical research work to develop a set of umbilical connector with data bus which can realize the high airtight requirement.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)The key technologies of bus contact pressure seal,bus contact docking,reliable off electrical connector waterproof and short circuit,electric connector plug and reliable off resistance to environmental pressure balance were studied.Moreover,the prototype of airtight umbilical connector with data bus was realized.(2)The characteristic impedance of sealed type bus contact was simulated by HFSS 3D electromagnetic simulation software.It provides technical support for optimizing the size design of the insulation of the bus contact and ensuring the transmission performance of the bus contact.(3)The basic situation of airtight umbilical connector pneumatic separation test technology was discussed.The functional requirements of the air pressure separation test device were analyzed.The pressure separation test equipment was developed according to the actual working condition.Furthermore,the airtight umbilical onnector with data bus was tested.
