Compared with the traditional way of power transfer, wireless power transfer does not exist the problems of cable wear, spark producing, maintenance difficulties and limited using in harsh environments. This technology has great application value with its higher security, reliability and convenience. This paper firstly analyzed the mechanism of the wireless power transfer technology and studied the transmission characteristics of the system based on the system modeling, and then discussed the calculation methods of the air core coils' self and mutual inductance, and finally proposed a wireless power transfer scheme based on pulse width modulation rectifier. The inductance and capacitor made the transmitter circuit work in series resonant state, and the receivier circuit adopted compensation capacitor to increase the freedom of the coil design. This paper used the dual closed-loop control strategy and single-pulse modulation method to make sure that the PWM rectifier works in a low-frequency switch state, and achieve system resonance and constant voltage or constant current output. This paper did the principle analysis and formula deduction of the wireless power transfer system on the basis of the PWM rectifier, and used the software of MATLAB/Simulink to construct model and do simulation.Meanwhile, the experiment system platform based on STM32F103ZET6 microcontrollers was designed and developed, and the experiments when the resistance or inductance changed were carried out.The experimental results verified the correctness and feasibility of the proposed scheme.
