TiO2 has the properties of chemical stability,abundant,nontoxicity etc.So that it has attracted more and more attention as the anode material for the lithium-ion battery.Although the present study of nanostructure TiO2 can achieve high energy density,its electronic conductivity is low and its electrochemical property is unstable which lead to its poor cycle property.The TiO2/C anode material was prepared by ice templating method and SiO2 etching method in this work to improve the cycle performance of the battery material by improving the electronic conductivity and electrochemical properties.Titanium tetraisopropoxide was used as titanium source and sucrose was used as carbon source to prepare TiO2/C as the anode material for the lithium-ion battery.XRD and SEM were carried out to study the structure and morphology.The TiO2/C was assembled in lithium-ion battery and its electrochemical properties was studied by charge-discharge tests,Cyclic Voltammetry and AC impedance.The experiment was carried out from the four following conditions to study the electrochemical performance of anode materials TiO2/C for lithium-ion battery,say:sintering temperature(800 ?,900 ? and 1000?),sintering time(3 h,5 h and 7 h),etching time(24 h,36 h and 48 h)and the mass ratio of titanium-carbon(1:2,2:1,1:5 and 1:1).The experimental results showed that when TiO2/C,with the mass ratio of 1:1,was sintered at 800 ? for 7 hours and then etched for 48 hours,the material expressed the best electrochemical performance.The first charge and discharge specific capacity were 178.1 mAh/g and 209.9 mAh/g respectively.The specific capacity could stay around 166 mAh/g and 169.6 mAh/g after 30 cycles at 0.1 C and remained at around 115 mAh/g at 0.5 C of the charge and discharge test.The capacity retention rate was high,but the charging capacitance attenuated seriously at high rate.Based on crystal morphology and structure analysis,when TiO2/C,with the mass ratio of 1:1,was sintered at 800 ? for 7 hours and then etched for 48 hours,the material turned small,porous and evenly distributed particles.It proved to be rutile structure by XRD testing.There was no other impurity peak.
