TV tracking is very practical and its development is now closely related to the development of high-speed computers.It is widely used in military field because of its large amount of information,intuitiveness,timeliness,high precision and strong anti-electronic interference ability.The TV tracking system is more intuitive and accurate than radar.In this paper,TV tracking system is used as the main channel of searching and tracking guidance system in a certain missile-gun combined weapon system and the radar is an auxiliary channel of searching and tracking guidance system.The radar will automatically track the target when the TV tracking system cannot automatically track the target and TV tracking system has priority when both can track the target.It is critical to the missile-gun combined weapon system that TV tracking system can automatically track,hit and evaluate the target,and can read and calibrate the position of missile to track and guide it.Therefore,in this paper,we studied the maritime combat environment,and put forward the application research of TV tracker based on TMS320C80,and it satisfied the requirements of searching and tracking guidance system in missile-gun combined weapon system and was compatible with the radar system.Based on the general requirements of the weapon system,we designed the TV imaging system and differential device concluding system components and the main performance indicators,system control principle and the core differential device.After the design of the hardware architecture,combining with the characteristics of the hardware system,we studied the target tracking algorithm,focusing on image preprocessing,model-based tracking,region-based tracking,contour-based tracking,feature tracking and adaptive compensation Camshift algorithm.Moreover,contrast tracking method concluding edge tracking,centroid tracking,rectangle tracking and peak tracking were studied and introduced.Finally,Camshift algorithm of adaptive compensation of light intensity combined with contrast tracking algorithm was selected.Hardware was designed according to the characteristics of software.TV tracker consisted of interface components and differential device.Differential device was also called target TV automatic tracker,including four modules: processor module,input and output modules,power modules,input and output modules 1.In this paper,four modules were analyzed and introduced in detail.We designed the printed plate by Cadence software combined with the system characteristics.Finally,the algorithm was implemented in software and the algorithm was researched by using CCS3.1 programming software.The experiment results showed that the designed TV tracking system satisfied the requirements of weapon system.
