Dome steel structure by advantage of its simple shape,excellent mechanical properties and ease of design and construction,and other advantages with the strengths of the spatial structure of the design by domestic attract foreign designers love.In the design of dome steel structure,the study of joint performance is a crucial part of the whole design process.Because the number of bars is large at the joint,the stress is complex and the stress concentration is serious,so the damage of the joint So that the entire structure of the destruction.At present,the research on the dome steel structure in China is mainly focused on planar T-type,K-type and X-type and so on.The research on complex steel pipe joints are still scarce,and there are no relevant calculation methods or formulas for complex joints in the codes of various countries.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the bearing capacity of complex joints and to study the calculation formula or calculation method of the bearing capacity of complex joints based on the existing codes.Based on the steel roof project of the new campus of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts,this paper analyzes the joints in the structure according to the working conditions in the actual engineering,using the finite element software ABAQUS.Based on the nodal form in the dome steel truss,the T-type and X-type joints are analyzed firstly.Compared with the normalized algorithm,the normalized results are more conservative than those calculated by the finite element method.And the damage is caused by large plastic deformation.The result of data analysis shows that it is feasible to use ABAQUS to analyze the bearing capacity of complex joints.The results show that the bearing capacity of the joint increases with the increase of the ratio of the width of the branch pipe to the main pipe.The square of the pipe wall thickness is also proportional to the bearing capacity of the joint.Four types of new joints are defined:KTKT,TX,KTKTT and KTKTKT.Based on the calculation formulas of bearing capacity of X-joints in the code,the four new types of joints are compared with the X-joints in the code,and the stress characteristics of the new joints are summarized.At the same time,The calculation method and formula of the proposed method are put forward.In this paper,the overall analysis of the dome steel truss is carried out,and the design results are checked.The dome steel truss is studied in detail by using SAP2000,a three-dimensional general structure analysis and design program.The overall analysis is carried out from the aspect ratio of the structural members,the period and mode of the whole structure,the deflection and horizontal displacement of the dome,the overall reaction force of the base,the bearing reaction force of the support,the internal force of the single working condition.The stress ratio of the bar and other aspects of the overall structure of the test and calculation of the structure as a whole.
