In the age of radical change in the automotive industry,on the one hand,automobile electrification and intelligentization has been accelerated,the concept of electric vehicles and self-driving cars have been widely known,and the combination of traditional automotive technologies and electric vehicles is imminent;on the other hand,the market has higher and more diverse demands on conventional automotive power train system in internal combustion engine vehicles and hybrid vehicles,and improving the performance of various components has become a key factor to meet this demand.Continuously variable transmission(CVT),with very unique performance,has great potential in both electric vehicles and internal combustion engine cars.Given the background,this paper studies the key component of CVT,rocker-pin chain.Through the analysis of the geometric model of the CVT transmission system,the paper studies the change law between the theoretical calculation chain length and the transmission speed ratio,and puts forward the repair method of rocker-pin to the rolling line through the study of the pitch characteristic of the roll pin chain.In this paper,the pitch characteristics of two rolling pin lines with single segment arc and multi segment arc are discussed.Based on the idea of optimal design,two rocker-pin chains with different rolling lines are designed for a CVT chain transmission system.This paper studies the arrangement and assembly rules of the rocker-pin chain transmission system,puts forward a set of reasonable arrangement methods,and establishes a dynamic simulation model of the CVT rocker-pin chain transmission system through the RecurDyn/eTemplate automation modeling method.This automatic modeling method avoids the repeated low efficiency in the process of chain drive system modeling and shorten the time of modeling process.Furthermore,using Excel file to manage and modify the model data makes the process of multi group model more convenient and efficient.In this paper,the dynamic simulation and comparison analysis of three groups of chain CVT drive system are carried out,and the change law of chain tension under different driving ratio conditions is studied,and the rationality of rocker-pin design method is verified.At the same time,through chain wave momentum analysis,the performance evaluation of the chain drive system is carried out,and the design theory of the roll pin line is further improved.The rolling line design method of CVT rocker-pin chain has filled the technical gap in this field.This method will have important theoretical significance for improving the speed ratio range of the CVT roller chain drive system,reducing the impact and vibration,and improving the transmission efficiency.
