The power industry in our country is developing rapidly,and the motor occupies an irreplaceable important position in the power production.The permanent magnet motor has the advantages of simple structure,light weight,low noise,reliable operation,long service life,low maintenance cost advantages.The rotor with rare earth permanent magnetic material,without the use of electrical excitation of rotor winding the unit,greatly improving the efficiency,has become one of the mainstream models of grid.However,as the permanent magnet motor power density increases,the electromagnetic load increases,resulting in a higher temperature rise during motor operation,there is a large temperature difference between the various components,the permanent magnet will be unrecoverable loss of magnetism will be insulation threat,improve the motor accident rate.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the fluid flow characteristics of the permanent magnet synchronous generator and the heat transfer characteristics between the various components of the motor.In this paper,a 6MW permanent magnet synchronous generator is taken as the research object.The finite volume method is used to establish a three-dimensional physical model.Based on the related knowledge of fluid mechanics and numerical heat transfer,the numerical simulation of the motor fluid field with an open cooling system.And flow characteristics of the whole motor in the axial and radial distribution of stator radial ventilation road traffic distribution were revealed,and the spoiler effect of the stator channel is also determined.Thus determine the initial cooling system can meet the requirements of the ventilation motor.The flow-heat coupled method is used to calculate the temperature field of the 1/12 circumferential region of the motor.The influence of the fluid flow characteristics in the stator radial ventilation groove on the components of the motor is obtained through the analysis.The characteristics of temperature distribution along the axial,radial and circumferential directions and the average value of the maximum value of each component of the motor are briefly discussed.The temperature rise distribution of the stator strands,the insulation,the stator core and the permanent magnet are separately made detailed analysis,get the motor temperature distribution trends and maximum temperature location.Finally,the relevant discussion is made to clarify the numerical relationship.
