In recent years,the industrial level developed fast,following the big problems-the environmental pollution and the energy crisis.It makes the whole society pay close attention to the electric vehicle.How to reduce the pressure to the environment is a hot topic for many scholars in recent years.As we all know,the electric vehicle use electricity to make it run instead of traditional fuel,but as the device to convert energy between mechanical and electrical,the motor play important role in a drive system.It is widely used for PMSM in the drive system for its simple structure,small volume,easy control performance,high efficiency.In many AC speed control systems,it needs big torque in low speed and wide speed range for a drive system.A good control performance system not only can satisfy these conditions,but also save energy.Traditional driver system needs to use the mechanical transmission or increase the volume of inverter or change the control strategy to achieve the purpose.But it will make the control system complicated and increase cost.Aiming at this problem,this paper uses the traditional vector control to verify the theory of changing winding turns to extend the speed range on PMSM.First,on the basis of reading related information,the model of PMSM and the control strategy are introduced,and then some methods and the advantages to extend the speed range are summarized in terms of the motor ontology,driver system and the control strategy.Then the theory of changing winding turns to extend speed range is studied,and the influence of parameters to the whole system is derivation,the theory is used on PMSM to extend speed range last.Second,this proposed method was built in Matlab/Simulink,every control module was modeled and the basic vector control was realized.Basing on the platform,the theory was used to verified to extend speed range,and the influence of different speed and load to the whole control system was studied.A experiment platform was built based on digital signal processor TMS320F2812,and the corresponding hardware was designed for the above analysis and study,which contained rectification circuit,filter circuit,current sampling circuit,IGBT driver circuit.The program was written and the flow chart was built based on C.Then the program was debugged under the Code Composed Studio 3.3 with the designed PMSM.At last,the results of experiment and Matlab/Simulink simulation both show the availability of changing winding turns to extend speed range on PMSM.
