There are many damage forms of asphalt pavement, the fatigue crack caused by repeated vehicle load is one of the them. Therefore, the fatigue performance of asphalt mixture pavement has been a hot research and studied a lot.Cracks appear in asphalt mixture fatigue test which is a common method for evaluating the fatigue properties of asphalt mixtures and we can draw the evaluation of asphalt mixture anti fatigue properties. However, fatigue test is time-consuming,and the discrete nature of the specimen makes results usually not repeatable. With the increasing maturity of numerical simulation,it is increasingly used as a supplementary tool for the fatigue properties of asphalt mixtures. However, asphalt mixture, cement concrete, soil, rock and building materials are usually assumed to be uniform and the influence of micro structure is ignored in most cases.Previous studies have found that:the internal mesoscopic structure differences have great influence on the mechanical failure of materials.Researchers find it necessary to consider the effects of non-uniformity in the structure analysis and design from the conclusions of huge number of recent engineering examples. In this context, this paper studied the micromechanics behavior in asphalt mixture by digital processing combined with finite element modeling techniques, fitting the Chaboche nonlinear fatigue damage evolution equation, establishing the finite element model of asphalt mixture with aggregate, air void and asphalt mastic were established.Author makes comparison of mechanics response between mesoscopic and uniform models,if the voids exit,Stone matrix asphalt-13 and Asphalt concrete-13 under the same load.Analysising the mechanical properties in inhomogeneous mesoscopic structure, different void rates and gradation.Ultimately, carrying out asphalt mixture fatigue damage numerical simulation based on mesoscopic model.
