The current power generation technology that uses conventional energy to generate electricity will lead to a series of social problems such as energy shortages and environmental pollution.Therefore,in order to solve the problems faced by traditional energy sources,the development and use of new energy has become a pressing problem for all countries in the world.At present,the new energy that is mainly used by various countries in the world is solar energy.Solar energy has many advantages over traditional energy sources.Solar energy is effectively used in power generation.The most widely used solar power technology is solar thermal power generation.Solar thermal power generation is the most critical thermal storage system,and molten salt tanks are the key heat storage equipment.So this paper mainly focuses on molten salt tank,the main energy storage equipment in 50 MW Tower Molten CSP power system in Qinghai Republic.First,the structure design of molten salt storage tank is carried out.Then,the finite element analysis software,ANSYS Workbench14.0 is used to do numerical simulation research on the designed molten salt storage tank,and whether the molten salt tank designed meets the requirements of operation.In order to provide a theoretical basis for the construction of molten salt tank.The research contents of this paper include four parts.One is static simulation analysis for molten salt tank in the Static Structural module of ANSYS Workbench.The research results show that the designed molten salt tank meets the intensity requirement.The two is dynamic analysis for molten salt tank in the Modal and Response Spectrum module of ANSYS Workbench.The research results show that in the frequent earthquake area when the large scale molten salt tank is established,the results of the strength check under the horizontal earthquake should be used as an index to evaluate the seismic performance of the molten salt tank.The three is the thermal analysis for molten salt storage tank in Steady-State Thermal module of ANSYS Workbench.The temperature field of top?wall and bottom of molten salt storage tank were simulated by finite element method respectively.The research results show that the tank wall and the top materia,S31603,has good heat transfer performance.Material of insulation layer,aluminum silicate fiber,has good insulation properties,meeting the requirements of the use of molten salt tank.The first layer of material at the bottom of the tank,steel plate,has good heat transfer performance.The second layer of material at the bottom of the tank,adiabatic refractory brick and the third layer of materialfoam glass have good insulation properties,almost isolating the transfer of high temperature in the tank so that the temperature of fourth layers of foam cement is close to the temperature outside,meeting the requirements of the use of molten salt tank.Fatigue strength simulation of molten salt storage tank is simulated by adding fatigue tool Fatigue Tool in Steady-State Thermal and Static Structural module of ANSYS Workbench.The results show that the molten salt tank will not have fatigue damage under the action of alternating load,and the design of the molten salt storage tank meets the actual requirements.
