Study On The Construction Of Composite Ecological Network In Southern Hilly Cities

The accelerating progress of China's urbanization process is an objective requirement for economic development,but the problem of ecological environment has become a prominent issue in the process of urbanization.In the hilly areas of southern China,extensive urban construction have damaged the original hilly terrain,natural habitats and ecological processes,resulting in a decline in biodiversity and ecosystem service functions,which have brought serious challenges to the sustainable development of hilly cities in the South.The urban ecological network is based on the“plaque-corridor-matrix”model in landscape ecology and aims to form a continuous and complete ecological framework on the urban area,which can ease the contradiction between urban ecological environment protection and urban development.It is also an important foundation for the construction of ecological cities.This paper takes hilly cities in the South as research objects,and comprehensively applies the theories and methods of urban and rural planning,landscape ecology and urban ecology and other related disciplines.It aims to build a multi-objective,integrated and complex ecological network system to promote the sustainable development of hilly cities in the South.Based on reviewing the related studies of ecological networks,the paper defines the overall idea of the southern hill city ecological network from the aspects of objectives,principles and approaches,and then proposes a comprehensive ecological network construction system for the southern hilly city.In the end,the dissertation expounds the construction of eco-network in Loudi downtown.The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the summary of the natural ecological characteristics of the hilly cities in the South and the analysis of urban ecological contents,the paper determined the main objective of the construction of the ecological network in the southern hilly city is to improve biodiversity,improve the urban ecological environment and meet the needs of human use.The dissertation proposes a method for the construction of habitat network based on biological processes,a water-green network construction approach based on hydrological process,and a recreation-based network construction approach based on humanistic process.(2)Using the GIS platform as technical support,a multi-objective fusion methodfor the construction of a complex ecological network in the southern hilly city was proposed,including a comprehensive assessment of ecological sensitivity,a single-target oriented ecological network construction,and a multi-objective integrated complex ecological network construction.Etc.(3)Taking Loudi City in Hunan Province as an example to demonstrate the applicability and feasibility of constructing a complex ecological network in hilly cities in the South China.
