The rapid development of conventional automobile industry has brought about serious environmental pollution and energy crisis while promoting social progress and economic development.Electric cars are favored by researchers with their advantages such as high efficiency,zero pollution and low noise and so on.At present,the key technology of battery can not take into account both the advantages of energy density,power density and compact structure,which seriously restricts the development of electric vehicles.This paper considers assembling the supercapacitor and battery into hybrid energy storage system with reasonable structure and bringing in energy management control strategy,which gives full play to the advantages of the two different energy source,in order to improve the vehicle's dynamic performance and economic performance,at the same time improve the electric car driving mileage and the service life of the battery.In this paper,the topological structure of the hybrid energy storage system is designed by analyzing the requirements of power system and the working characteristics of the battery,supercapacitors and bidirectional DC/DC converters.According to the technical requirements of electric vehicle power system,the parameter matching design of the hybrid energy storage system is carried out.In order to improve the energy utilization efficiency of hybrid energy storage systems,energy management control strategy of hybrid energy storage system is designed,the fuzzy control energy management strategy is selected as the power allocation strategy of hybrid energy storage system through analyzing the control effect of different control strategies;The simulation models of power battery,supercapacitor,bi-directional DC/DC converter and control strategy are established based on the Matlab/Simulink,the simulation model of electric vehicle with hybrid energy storage system is established by combining with the secondary development of ADVISOR software.In order to further improve the control precision of the energy management control strategy,the parameters of membership function of fuzzy controller are optimized with genetic algorithm,the optimal parameters of fuzzy controller are obtained by calling ADVISOR in Matlab program of genetic algorithm.Simulation results show that: In the NEDC and UDDS conditions,the parameters matching can meet the performance requirements of hybrid power system,hybrid energy storage system can make the battery charge and discharge current more gentle,braking energy recovery efficiency is greatly increased,which will help improve the service life of the battery and the driving mileage of the electric car;The fuzzy control strategy can give full play to the advantages of battery and super capacitor and realize the control goal of the vehicle.The control effect of fuzzy controller after optimization with genetic algorithm is better,the total energy consumption of the system is obviously reduced under different working conditions,and the service condition of battery is improved obviously.
