The use of linear induction traction motor as a power system has a very obvious advantage compared to the traditional urban rail transportation system.The former has a smaller turning radius,good climbing and traction performance,and more economical construction cost.Combining the current situation of China’s vast territory and population concentration,China is very suitable and urgently needs to develop rail transit using linear induction motors as its power system.In actual project construction,due to construction or aisles and other reasons,the secondary plate cannot be laid continuously in the interval of entering and exiting the vehicle,and there is an intermittent interval of the secondary plate.When the linear motor passes this interval,it will cause output current.And thrust,long-term will cause the situation of the wheel pair polygon of the linear motor vehicle.This dissertation focuses on the electromagnetic mechanism of the linear induction traction motor with intermittent secondary plates and carries out relevant simulation analysis.This article first reviews the development of linear induction motors,describes the research status of linear induction motors at home and abroad,and introduces the advantages and disadvantages of linear induction motors in practical applications.And many scholars at home and abroad have carried out multi-analysis on irregular wear of wheelsets.Then,the classification,evolution process and working principle of the flat linear induction motor are introduced in this paper.The components and force characteristics analysis of the linear motor are introduced in detail.The four types of edge-end effects specific to linear induction motors and their effects on motor performance are highlighted.Then,using ANSYS finite element software,two-dimensional modeling of the secondary intermittent linear induction motor.The simulation analysis was performed when the secondary plate was complete,missing one pole,missing two poles,missing 200 mm,missing 300 mm,and completely missing.By observing the curve of the thrust,normal force,self-inductance,mutual inductance,and current parameters at each moment,the relationship between the change of each parameter and the degree of discontinuity of the secondary plate is found,and the linear induction motor is analyzed when the secondary plate is intermittent.The electromagnetic characteristics.Finally,in order to fully consider the effects of the second type of lateral edge effect and the winding end on the linear induction motor when the secondary is missing,the ANS YS finite element software is used to model the linear induction motor in three dimensions and the secondary plate is complete and missing.One pole,two poles are missing,and transient analysis is performed when it is completely missing.Based on the two-dimensional analysis,the three-dimensional transient analysis further analyzes and explains the electromagnetic characteristics and force characteristics of the linear motor in the secondary discontinuous state.At the same time,the second type of transverse end effect is also associated with the irregular wear of the motor wheel pairs.
