With the rapid development of social modernization, elevator,as a vertical transport tool, has found an increasingly wide application in our daily life and plays an important role in various fields. The elevator is a large scale and complex equipment with mechanical structure and electrical control.Due to its complex structure, the elevator will not be safe and effective once the failure occurs.Based on the operating state of the elevator system and the mechanical fault diagnosis, the main results obtained in this thesis are summarized as follows:The 9 degree of freedom model was established for the vertical direction of the traction elevator, and the MATLAB programming language was used to obtain the vibration frequency under different loads and floor positions. At the same time, the vibration frequency of traction machines, cars and the rails were tested. The experimental results verified the accuracy of the model, and would set up a "bridge" for the next fault diagnosis. The dynamic measurement method was presented for the tension of the wire rope. The method was used to measure the vibration frequency and the frequency order of the wire rope in the running state. Also, the tension of the wire rope was obtained. The comparison with the theoretical value to verified the feasibility of the method. Moreover, the experimental results showed that the stiffness of wire was concerned with the lateral wire rope of the car,and the tension deviation of each strand was obtained. The dynamic measurement method was used to detect the tension of the heavy side wire rope and the lateral wire rope of the car.By using the balance coefficient checking formula, the dynamic measurement method for the elevator balance coefficient was obtained.Based on the modal synthesis method, the total system was divided into three subsystems, which were modeled and analyzed respectively. And the accuracy of the subsystems was verified through experiments. After the actual modal parameters and dynamic responses were measured, several common fault diagnosis methods were used to diagnose and analyze the modal parameters of the measured data.
