The ship draft survey method is one of the main methods of weight of shipping cargo,is widely used in large bulk solid products weight,which is simple,fast,labor saving and high accuracy and efficiency.Based on the advantages and disadvantages of current gauge measurement methods,a clear research objectives,ideas and related tasks around the ship draft waterline identification,ship waterline numerical automatic measurement of the following aspects.To develop the overall technical scheme,the automatic measurement of the ship’s draft,which laid the foundation for the next research.according to the binarization and morphological method to the ship’s draft position,and draw the waterline by using the kmeans algorithm,provides the technical foundation for measuring the actual draft ship.According to the characteristics of the ship’s draft,the use of DEEPLEARNING and DNN,the training ship water gauge network text recognition.Then,according to the result of character recognition of ship waterline and ship draft,the number and location of the fitting function,fast,efficient and accurate automatic measurement of actual ship draft.Finally,the above algorithm in the platform of Visual Studio 2015 and OPENCV has carried on the design and implementation,and validation,proved that the technical route is right,the right way,can the application of flexible in shipping,has low cost,recognition rate,the characteristics of high security.The research and realization of the measurement system of the ship’s water ruler is of great theoretical and practical significance.
