As the scientific and educational cultural buildings in public buildings, the school buildings have the characteristics of frequent using, large amount of personnel gathering, large energy demand, special using time and so on.It's an important building with high-energy consumption,we should pay more attention on its huge energy demand and high energy consumption.Scholars' research on energy saving of school public buildings mainly focuses on two aspects:building envelope and air-conditioning system. This paper holds that improving the performance of building envelope is an energy saving method aimed at the source of building energy consumption, which can directly reduce the demand of building cooling and heating load, and it is a prerequisite for the realization of zero energy consumption in building, which should be given priority. Some studies show that the heat consumption by heat transfer of building envelopes accounts for more than 70% of the total heat consumption,of which, the exterior wall accounts for about 25% and the exterior window accounts for about 24%.It can be seen that the exterior wall and window play an important role in the energy consumption of heat transfer of the building envelope, which should be paid more attention to.The research on the building envelope not only needs to start with materials, but also needs to break away from the shackles of some specific materials. However, the research on the energy saving mechanism of its material properties is relatively lacking at present. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between heat transfer and thermal performance parameters and orientation of exterior walls and windows from heat transfer of building envelope. In order to realize the general equilibrium of the room temperature in different directions of the building,to solve the problem of the real temperature difference between different directions rooms, and to assist in the development of the energy-saving work of the school public buildings in our country, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the energy-saving design of the school public buildings in different climate regions in China. Therefore, the following work has been carried out in this paper:This paper investigates the basic building information, the characteristics of energy using, the construction of building envelope, the using of building rooms, the operation of air conditioning, lighting and equipment, and the design parameters of air conditioning system in auniversity library in Hangzhou. This paper makes a comprehensive understanding of the actual situation of the building, and gives the energy use measurement, analyzes its energy use structure, and puts forward some suggestions for energy saving. On the basis of this library building, combined with the energy characteristics of school buildings, the hourly heat transfer rate of exterior walls and windows is compared, and the energy consumption of heat transfer and thermal performance parameters of the building envelope of school public buildings in hot summer and cold winter region are discussed by SketchUp and EnergyPlus. It is found that the thermal performance of the same building envelope has great difference in heat transfer among different orientations, and the energy-saving effect of different orientation building envelope is different when the same energy-saving measures are taken. With the help of the library model, the relationship between energy consumption of heat transfer, thermal performance and orientation of the of school public buildings in different climate regions(hot-summer and cold-winter region,hot-summer and warm-winter region, cold region, revere cold AB region and revere cold C region)is analyzed, this paper puts forward some suggestions on energy-saving design of school public buildings.
