With the advancement of technology and the rapid economic development,the load on the power system is constantly expanding.The system structure is also more complicated,which poses a threat to the stable operation of the system.The stable operation of the system voltage is an important aspect of stable operation of the system.If the system is heavily loaded,it will cause the system voltage gradually decreased.And continued to exceed a certain threshold will cause the voltage gradually destabilized.or even cause the voltage collapse.Undervoltage load shedding is an effective way to stabilize the system voltage.This paper analyzes the principle of voltage stability and its classification.Undervoltage load shedding needs to be set from two aspects.It contains load removal site selection and the amount of load shedding tuning point.This paper uses the method of risk analysis to analyze and calculate the load removal site selection.The choice of load removal site selection takes into account two factors:the participation factor and the economic loss caused when the load is removed.The two aspects are introduced into the analysis and calculation to calculate the risk value of the node.Then it selects the site of load removal according to the risk value of each node.The way to choose the site of load removal can take full account of different load types and different operating conditions.And it can accurately calculate the best load cut point.Another important aspect of load shedding is calculating the amount of load shedding tuning point.In this paper,the method of calculating sensitivity is used to calculate the amount of load shedding.The sensitivity value is calculated for each point of load shedding.And then the optimal objective function and constraint conditions are listed according to the sensitivity value and the required voltage recovery range.It calculated according to sensitivity and the optimal solution of program planning.And finally it gets the best amount of load resection.This method can calculate the appropriate amount of load resection more accurately and avoid the complicated way of data comparison calculation one by one.The way is simple and suitable.
