The Coastal Landscape Design Of Dalian Puwan District

This paper takes the landscape design of Neiwan coastal region of Puwan New Area,Dalian as the research example.On the basis of current theoretical researches on urban design,this thesis analyzes and uses domestic and foreign projects as well as related researches for reference;then discusses cases to explore the approaches for coastal cities to combine the natural conditions to create beautiful urban space environments from the perspective of landscape design.Solve the problems like ecological protection,shaping of regional characteristics,design of the coastal space and coastal landscape in urban coastal regions.It emphasizes the protection and utilization of the natural environment in coastal zone as well as the expression of regional marine cultural elements.This paper adopts the research method which combines fundamental theoretic research and practice research.Specifically speaking,it conducts in-depth analysis on the Puwan New Area’s coastal landscape design project and combines analysis of relevant theory,planning and design to determine the practical problem-oriented research strategy,elaborating on the methods and strategies for coastal environment landscape design to express marine culture step by step.The research framework of this thesis is:The first chapter introduces the background of studies on urban coastal landscape design and current problems,meanwhile puts forward the research purpose and research framework of the paper.The second chapter analyzes and evaluates the status of the coastal landscapes in Puwan New Area as well as puts forward the problems to be addressed by this paper.The third chapter studies the existing relevant concepts and design theories as well as carries out comparative analysis of similar cases in China and international community to sum up the elements of coastal landscape design.The fourth chapter proposes strategies of coastal landscape design on the basis of foregoing induction and summary.The fifth chapter applies design strategies and methods in Puwan New Area’s coastal landscape design so as to solve problems raised by previous sections.The sixth chapter summarizes the whole paper and draws conclusions.This thesis fully combines real design cases,further explores the design strategy and realization approach of coastal landscape in northern China,and explores the sustainable development patterns of cities in such areas from a more comprehensive perspective.This thesis begins with solving practical problems and theoretically explores several types of feasible perspectives to solve problems in the cases.The research has certain universality in the process of application,which can better promote the construction and development of landscape in the coastal cities in northern China.
