Since the automobile has been invented,the safety problem has been worrying.The increasing car ownership and complex traffic environment have caused massive traffic accidents in China.Therefore,automobile safety is a very worthwhile direction to study.In terms of vehicle safety,advanced driver assistance system is one of the latest research directions.An accurate and real-time vehicle lane changing assistant system can effectively improve the driving safety of the vehicle,reduce the driver's mental tension,and provide effective decision-making information for the autopilot system.According to the above situation,based on 24GHz millimeter wave radar,a lane changing assistant system with low cost,high reliability and high sensitivity is developed with the research object of lane changing assistant algorithm in the advanced driver assistance system of vehicles.The system uses the millimeter wave radar to obtain the vehicle information of the rear lane in real time.The radar data is transmitted to the controller through CAN,and the data processing with threat degree are judged,and the alarm signal is output to the reflector LED lamp and the beetle,so that the judgment is accurate.The key points are as follows:First,determine the overall design index of the variable channel auxiliary system,select the millimeter wave radar,determine the radar working system,and theoretically deduce the principle of radar working under this system,and design the waveform of the modulation signal parameterized.Second,design the hardware of the experimental platform for lane changing assistant system development.The key modules are introduced,including CAN communication module,ADC module,GPIO module and so on.At the same time,all functional modules and main chips are selected.After setting up the development test platform and through a series of experiments,the PCB design of the vehicle system is also carried out.The miniaturization and lightening of the vehicle hardware are realized,and the hardware reliability of the system is improved.Third,we design algorithm of lane changing assistant system and develop lane changing assistant algorithm.We adopt the design idea based on model and use automatic code generation technology to build the system model in Matlab.By analyzing the target features of the millimeter wave radar,the interference target is eliminated by a certain method,and the vehicle target is effectively extracted from the jamming target.According to whether the target is in the alarm area and the collision time,the first or second alarm can be issued combined with the steering signal of the vehicle.Fourth,the experimental test platform of the variable channel auxiliary system was built,and a lot of tests were carried out according to the ISO17387:2008 standard.The experimental results show that the system can work effectively and meet the requirements of the ISO standard.It is verified by experiments that the lane changing assistant system can identify the approaching vehicles near the adjacent lanes accurately,and provide the drivers with timely warning.It can provide effective rear warning information for vehicle assistant driving system.In the future vehicle automatic driving system,there will be wider applications.
