As an essential ingredient of the future power system,the microgrid has a bright development prospect.As part of the microgrid,the energy storage device is the key to guarantee the reliability and stability of the gird system.Distributed generation has made great progress with the development science and technology.Because of the randomness and indeterminacy of the DG,various power sources can be put together by microgrid to improve the reliability and stability of the gird system.Therefore,research the energy storage device in microgrid has very high theoretical significance and practical value.Firstly,this article introduces the principle of wind power,photovoltaic power and diesel power generation system,and it makes simply analysis and research for the factors that influence efficiency of micro power generation.Then,it introduces three kinds of applications of energy storage device in power grid,new energy,user and it also introduces two kinds of principles that are physical and chemical of energy storage device.Secondly,it introduces the applications of energy storage device in microgrid system.It introduces the application sorts and analyzes the factors of influencing capacity and lifetime of energy storage device.Then,this article analyzes the strategies of charging and discharging and introduces the configuration methods in two modes of off-grid and grid connected of energy storage device.Thirdly,this article researchs the capacity of energy storage device which microgrid runs in the mode of off-grid.It introduces and improves the particle swarm optimization which optimizes and solves the objective function.In consideration of the load demand,the model uses electricity generation and consumption of every month as constraints.On the condition that the model doesn't change the reliability and makes full use of renewable energy,the capacity of energy storage device has minimum.Finally,this article takes one day as an example that analyses the operating statusof every device in the microgrid system.It analyzes the influence on SOC and the charge and discharge power of the energy storage device by the change of load.
