The large-span pedestrian suspension bridge is a type of flexible suspension bridge.Because of its beautiful appearance,great spanning ability and strong adaptability to complex terrain environment,it is widely used in mountains,canyons and tourist attractions.As the span length of suspension bridge increases,its mechanical properties cannot be extended from small span to large span simply.Therefore,it is necessary to study the mechanical properties of large-span pedestrian suspension bridges.Taking a pedestrian suspension bridge of Dajiangkou in Xupu County as the engineering background,theoretical analysis of the mechanical properties of large-span pedestrian suspension bridge is carried out,including the determination of rational completion state,the analysis of dead load equilibrium state,the analysis of operation stage,the influence of structural parameters on the static characteristics of pedestrian suspension bridge,and the analysis of the effect of anti-wind cable on large-span pedestrian suspension bridge.The concrete contents are as follows:(1)Based on the static analysis theory of suspension bridge,the calculation model of pedestrian suspension bridge of Dajiangkou in Xupu County is established by the finite element software Midas/Civil,obtaining the internal force and deformation of the structure under constant load,the rationality of the equilibrium state is verified at the same time.(2)Based on the rational completion state,the internal force of cable system and stiffening beam is analyzed under various loading conditions of load combination in operation stage.(3)The structure geometric parameters(the ratio of rise to span of main cable,the constraint mode of cable and tower,the constraint mode of tower and beam,the span ratio)of large-span pedestrian suspension bridge are analyzed and compared,some mechanical characteristics of long-span pedestrian suspension bridge are summarized,which can provide reference for design and construction of the same type bridge.(4)The contribution of anti-wind cable to the lateral stiffness and the influence of self-vibration characteristics of the large-span pedestrian suspension bridge are anlyzed,and the applicability of the anti-wind cable is anlyzed.
