Axial flux memory machine(AFMM)is a special motor that combines the advantages of axial flux motor and memory machine.This kind of motor not only has the characteristics of flexible and adjustable air gap flux,but also has the characteristics of small axial size and high efficiency.Therefore,AFMM has broad application prospects in electric vehicles,industrial manufacturing,aerospace and other fields.In this paper,a topology structure of AFMM is put forward,The operating principle of the motor is analyzed firstly.Then its electromagnetic characteristics are studied and the structure are optimized parameters through the finite element simulation software.Finally,the test platform of the prototype is built and some experiments are debeloped,which demonstrate the validity of the theoretical analysis.The main fruits of this thesis are as follows:1.The structure and operation principle of motor are analyzed.First,a reasonable topology of motor is introduced.Then,the memory mechanism of AlNiCo permanent magnet is introduced and the structure and working principle of the motor are analyzed.2.The initial design scheme is confirmed.The initial parameters of the motor are given at first.Besides,the magnetic field distribution,permanent magnetic chain,induction electromotive force,cogging torque and magnetic modulation characteristics of the motor are studied by finite element analysis.3.The design of AFMM is optimized.When the induction voltage is taken as the main performance target and the cogging torque is taken into consideration,the influence of the shape change and size of the permanent magnets on the motor performance are studied as well as the rotor tooth and the stator slot.The regularity of the influence of the parameter changes to the motor performance is summarized.4.Manufacture and test of the prototype.According to the initial design and optimization analysis of motor parameters,draw the motor CAD drawings.The test platform of the prototype is built and some experiments are debeloped,which demonstrate the validity of the theoretical analysis.
