In view of the current lack of natural sand as building materials and the frequent occurrence of leakage and cracking of construction mortar,this paper analyzes the causes of such problems,and puts forward the solution to the problem from the point of view of material engineering.On the one hand the use of sand instead of natural sand to ease the amount of natural sand pressure,on the other hand the use of polymer mortar modified.Dry mix mortar as a new kind of mortar,green environmental protection,quality control,easy construction has a broad application prospects.Therefore,the mixing performance,mechanical properties and durability of sand-dry mortar with polymer modified mechanism were studied by different polymer content test.The conclusions are as follows:1?Mixing performance of sand-dry mortar with polymer modification mechanismDifferent mixing properties such as mortar density,gas content,fluidity and setting time were tested.The results showed that due to the surface activity of the polymer,the introduction of bubbles in the mortar mixing process resulted in the density of modified mortar reduce.Polymers have a certain water reduction effect,in a certain range can improve the workability of mortar.2?Mechanical Properties of Sand-dry Mortar Prepared by Polymer Modification(1)The redispersible latex powder and the styrene-butadiene emulsion can improve the flexural strength of the mortar in a certain range,while the acrylic latex powder and the ordinary mortar are basically flat,but the compressive strength has different degree of reduction.(2)The flexural ratio of the polymer modified mortar has been improved obviously.The flexure ratio is the evaluation index of the mortar toughness,and the polymer can improve the toughness of the mortar.(3)The dry and humid is the best way to protect the hydration reaction of the cement.The later stage is helpful to the formation of the spatial structure of the polymer,so as to increase the strength of the modified cement mortar.favorable.3?Durability of Sand-dry Mortar with Polymer Modification Mechanism(1)After the polymer is added,the polymer particles adhere to the hydration products of cement.With the hydration of cement and the process of polymer film formation,the cement hydration products and polymers form intertwined space network membrane structure to improve the cement hydration.The adhesion between the product and the aggregate,to a certain extent,slow down the cracking of the mortar,thereby improving the crack resistance of cement mortar.(2)The incorporation of the polymer improves the impermeability of the mortar,the filling and sealing of the polymer in the mortar,and the good flexibility and adhesion of the polymer allows the polymer to adequately adapt to the hydration of the cement and mortar drying process changes in the position between the particles,better lap cracks.(3)Due to the action of the active groups and the radicals in the polymer,the late shrinkage values of the three polymer modified mortars are smaller than those of the ordinary mortar.
