Automobile steering device manufacturing enterprises are oriented to order production,and they present many kinds and small-scale production feature.The steering manufacturing enterprises hope to achieve the goal of just-in-time delivery.In traditional steering manufacturing,the planner roughly arranges the daily production tasks according to the order.This scheduling scheme only decomposes the order into the daily manufacturing task in shop floor,but it does not subdivide the order to each machine.This scheduling scheme may lead to the delay time while maintaining high production costs.Based on this idea,the flexible job shop scheduling problem for the steering device manufacturing is studied in this paper.Firstly,this paper analyzes the research significance on the production scheduling for the steering gear,the job scheduling research status and the commonly solution methods.Secondly,taking time and machine load as the optimization goal,the mathematical model of the flexible job-shop scheduling(FJSP)is constructed by analyzing the manufacturing process of automobile steering gear.Thirdly,an improved immune clonal selection algorithm(ICSA)is designed to solve the FJSPs that are concerned with steering gear processing.The improvements of ICSA are as following:(1)a variety of strategies are adopted in the initial population in order improve the quality of the initial solution;(2)the adaptive mutation operator is constructed;(3)The population segmentation is introduced for overcoming the defects of the standard immune algorithm.The performance of the improved algorithm is then tested by using the standard FJSP case.The improved ICSA is used to solve the FJSP concerned with the steering device and the results are compared with those of the standard immune clone selection algorithm.The results prove that the improved algorithm presents better performance.Subsequently,the process framework for rescheduling the automobile steering gear based on ICSA is constructed.The ICSA is used to solve the dynamic events such as new orders and machine fault.Lastly,the management system of the steering gear manufacturing is developed.Taking the demand of the steering gear production floor into consideration,the development tools,development ideas,and data storage mechanism of flexible job-shop scheduling management system concerned with steering gear manufacturing are introduced.Meanwhile,the paper explains how the scheduling management system realizes the output of production data input and dispatch.
