| Rut is one of main damages of asphalt surfaces,and the most economical solution is improving the rutting resistance of asphalt surfaces with hard grand bitumen.Select the appropriate raw materials and processes is the crux.In order to develop hard bitumen products to meet th e EN13925 standards of the Ministry of communications or EU,different raw materials of Liaohe Petrochemical(Liaohe pipeline,low condensate oil,Mari 16 import oil and Liaohe super heavy oil)and different production processes(distillation,blending,modification and oxidation process)are used to prepare different hard bitumen.Temperature performance,rutting resistance,fatigue resistance and bond properties were measured.The experiment results show that the performance of hard bitumen made from Liaohe super heavy oil is better than that form low condensate oil and Mari 16 crude oil.The 50# hard bitumen prepared by distillation process meets the standard of a European Union EN13925 and the Ministry of communications,and the 30# hard bitumen prepared by distillation meets the Europe EN13925 standard.The hard bitumen prepared by blending process meets the EN12591 standard.The modification and oxidation process can not prepare the qualified hard bitumen products with different raw materials from the Liaohe River.The properties of the mixture(EME14)of the qualified hard bitumen produced by the distillation process were tested,the effects of the ratio of rubber powder and oil stone on the water stability,mechanical properties and other properties of the hard asphalt mixture of EME14 were explored.The test results show that,1)when the ratio of powder to rubber is 1.1,the low temperature flexibility and high temperature fatigue resistance of asphalt mixture were improved.2)when the ratio of oil and stone is 5.5%,the water damage performance,high temperature stability and mechanical properties of EME14 asphalt mixture are good,and the porosity and other indexes meet “the design guide of LCPC asphalt mixture”,“highway asphalt pavement construction technical specifications",and the road below the level of road performance requirements.The low temperature performance and fatigue performance of EME14 asphalt mixture needs more explored. |
