The biological activated carbon process has become a common method for removing organic compounds in water, which can overcome some limitations of conventional water treatment processes and effectively remove humic substances, algal toxins, microbial secretions, dissolved animal and plant wastes, etc.in water through biodegradation.Organics and some pesticides, synthetics for commercial use, industrial waste, and other synthetic organics. At present, biological activated carbon technology is widely used in the advanced treatment of drinking water, and has become an effective means to ensure the safety of drinking water. At present, mostadvanced treatment processes in water plants use the O3-BAC combination process. When thewater contains bromide ions, there is a risk that ozone oxidation will generate bromate.WhileUV/H2O2 is a synergistic effect of UV and H2O2,there is no risk of formation of bromate byproducts. In this paper, the continuous operation effect of advanced oxidized UV/H2O2-BAC combination process, biological activated carbon filtration process performance, and the formation, growth and population structure of activated carbon biofilms were studied. In this study,a pilot test was conducted at Quehua Water Plant in Jinan City.During the entire year of the test, the water quality of the UV/H2O2-BAC inlet and outlet water and activated carbon and biofilms were examined. To study the removal characteristics and continuous operation effects of organics in UV/H2O2-BAC process, study the biomass change rules and microbial community structure of biological activated carbon, and analyze the dominant bacterial population and distribution characteristics of biological activated carbon surface.Four types of activated carbon were used to compare the performance of the filter column. One was new charcoal, and the other three were taken from the charcoal filter in the fourth water plant in Dezhou?having been used for 2 years?,and the charcoal filter in Sakai water plant in Shengli Oilfield?has been used for 4 years?and Quehua Waterworks Charcoal Filter?has been in operation for 6 years?and compared the effect of four activated carbon filter columns on organic matter removal and biofilm characteristics?new charcoal?.Research indicates:After the UV/H2O2-BAC advanced treatment process, the organic content of the effluent was significantly reduced, and the removal effect was stable. The operation found that there are differences in the removal effect of organic carbon on each activated carbon column. The carbon age in the activated carbon column?the length of time taken for the activated carbon to be used in the water plant?has a significant effect on the removal efficiency of organics, and the removal of organics by the low-carbon activated carbon column. The effect is higher than the age of charcoal activated carbon column. The average removal rate of DOC was 37.6%for the Dezhou Fourth Water Plant's charcoal filter column?activated carbon column 1?,and32.7%for the DOC removal rate of the Hongjing Water Plant's carbon filter column?activated carbon column 3?.The average removal rate of DOC from activated carbon column 4 was28.4%,and the removal efficiency of organic matter was highest with the new carbon filter column. With the stable formation of biofilm, the effluent DOC was stabilized at 1.5 mg/L,and the average DOC removal efficiency was 39.%.According to the analysis of the variation of DOC concentration with different molecular weights,UV/H2O2 advanced oxidation oxidizes organic macromolecules into small molecules of organic matter and can be converted into substances that can be used for microbial growth and metabolism. The activated carbon process absorbs and degrades small organic substances. The removal rate of residual hydrogen peroxide in the effluent of the UV/H2O2 process by the active carbon column was all over 90%,and the removal rate.Bio-films were taken from biological activated carbon samples...
