Study On The Influencing Factors Of The Outward Migration Of Gulangyu Residents

In the process of tourism development,the satisfaction of the residents of scenic spots on the living environment is getting lower and lower,resulting in the phenomenon of residents' moving out.The existing researches mainly focus on the management system and social regulation.There are relatively few researches on the influencing factors of the residents' relocation.And the research on the influencing factors of residents' relocation mainly uses a single data source to conduct research.This article combines the micro-questionnaire survey and the census data,and compares verification methods to effectively study the influencing factors of the residents'relocation.This paper uses Gulangyu as an example.Based on the census data and questionnaire survey data of Gulangyu residents in 2015,the influencing factors of residents' willingness to move out are analyzed based on the Logit model,and the conclusions from statistical analysis of the two different survey data are compared and verified.Empirical studies have found that:(1)Residents' satisfaction with public service facilities significantly affects their willingness to move.The lower the residents'satisfaction with local public service facilities,the higher their willingness to move out and the more they tend to move into the area where have better public service facilities.(2)The three individual socio-economic characteristics of the residents',which means employment location,education level,and marital status,significantly affect their willingness to move abroad.Residents working outside of Gulangyu Island are more likely to move out than residents working on Gulangyu Island.Higher-educated residents tend to move out of Gulangyu than lower-educated residents;married residents tend to move more than unmarried residents.The general results of this article are:(1)for research on population mobility behavior on microscopic,it is feasible to apply different data resources.(2)the combination of traditional questionnaire surveys and census data is an effective method for relation between built environment and human behavior.
