High-speed precision angular contact ball bearings have the advantages of simultaneously bearing radial and axial loads,which play a supporting role in the spindle of the machine tool.The cage is used to isolate and guide the rolling elements in the bearing and retain the rolling elements in the bearing cavity.With the improvement of the technical requirements of the spindle speed of the machine tool,it is difficult to meet the technical requirements of highstrength,high-temperature resistance,and wear-resistance in the traditional cages,both on the material(bakelite)and on the shape(cylindrical pocket).In particular,rolling bearing lubrication has become a key factor that restricts the development of machine tools.In order to further study the effect of the bearing assembly internal component materials and structures on bearing lubrication.In this paper,based on the model of cylindrical pocket bakelite cage and cylindrical pocket PEEK cage model,a new type of spherical pocket PEEK cage model is designed,and then study the influence of two aspects of the cage material and structure on the two-phase flow lubrication of bearings.The main work of this article is:(1)To study and compare the influence of different material cages on the lubrication of bearing cavities,taking 7014 angular contact ball bearings as the research object.The process of oil diffusion begins to analyze,and then analyzes the effect of different material cages on the oil distribution,the number of oil liquids,the temperature,and the pressure change in the bearing cavity under different operating conditions.The simulation and temperature rise test are compared with each other to verify the correctness of the simulation.The results show that under the same working conditions,the PEEK cage bearings are superior to ordinary bakelite cages in oil film distribution,heat dissipation,etc.,and are more suitable for high-speed angular contact ball bearings.(2)To study and compare the influence of different structural cages on the lubrication of bearing cavities.Analyze the effect of different structural cages on the oil distribution,the number of oil liquids,the temperature,and the pressure change in the bearing cavity under different operating conditions.The results show that compared with cylindrical pocket PEEK cages,due to the curvature of the new spherical pocket PEEK cage edge and both sides with a certain degree of slope of the prismatic structure,to accelerate the flow of air and lubricants,so that more uniform distribution of lubricant,and reduce the temperature rise.The new spherical pocket PEEK cages are more suitable for high-speed angle Contact ball bearings.The lubricating oil flow is strengthened due to the curvature of the cage edge of the new structure.Both sides of the cage have a rib structure with a certain slope,which accelerates the air flow and is more suitable for the lubrication of high-speed angular contact ball bearings.The purpose of this paper is to design a new type of cage that is more in line with the requirements of angular contact ball bearings.The conclusions obtained in this paper have theoretical significance and engineering application value,which can provide reference for optimization design of cage structure and internal bearing lubrication analysis.
